About
Easy to install. This 10k watt unit requires a minimum of 6/3 wire on a 60 amp breaker. I ran the wire from my main panel up to the unit (28'). I first hooked up the ground wire thinking it would be addaqit but the heater did not put out a lot of heat. I thought about it and hooked up the black and red to L1 and L2 and the neutral (white) to the ground lug. WOW, it works awesome! I installed it at 1 end of a 20X60 room that is insulated with spray foam. I can play pool in a t shirt. Worth ever

Update: Just received my new heater. It outperforms my Dyna-Glo heater. Puts out more heat, and has a bigger heating filament. Very easy to start. Just follow the instructions. The quality seems perfectly adequate. Its not the prettiest heater but I like that it is portable. Also. I like the automatic shut off feature. Was easy to assemble, for me anyway. I'm 57 years old with arthritic hands. This will be my second cabinet heater. I live in Maine, in an old 60 foot mobile home. The home has new
As soon as you turn it on, it blows out heat you dont have to wait its instantaneous its not for a big room its for a small room but its well worth the money. you get a lot of value for a small cost - I would definitely recommend it.
As an engineer, I am forced to find better, more efficient, capable electronics and apply them. So finding this unit has been a great discovery. Have used MANY portable heaters including quartz, ceramic, oil filled, etc. This unit is excellent! Perhaps one of the best forced heat style units..Unit is compact, mostly made of metal, and has flexible power settings. Most competiting units are primariliy to all plastic which is not as durable or predictable. This unit cost more, but IMO is worth the ad
Works great it turns the redi heater on and off , wen it' set ant the temperature you want, great for heaters without a thermostat.
Puts out lots of heat. Strong blower. Not as hard as a furnace but stronger than a tower heater blower. Quiet , soft low sound blower that s not noticeable. I use it in the living room (18X24 with 11 ft. Ceiling) where I watch TV.. Takes the chill off the rooming in moderate weather (40-60 degrees). I have it set at 65 degrees because I do not like a hot room. The timer works well. I set it for how many hours I want it to run and it has shut off at the end of that time. When the weather got down
I decided to turn my coffee table into a kotatsu, and bought this heater for the project. It was very easy to drill onto the bottom of my table. I left a 2 inch gap between the heater and the table, though it' probably not necessary to have that much space. During the winter I throw a comforter and a wood top over my coffee table and cozy up. During the summer, I simply unplug the cord and store it, you would never know the heater is there unless you're literally on the ground. The velvet coati
What a great little heater for the garage. I was a little skeptical when I opened the package as it looks small. Once you fire up this thing and let it warm up for a few minutes BAM!! it puts out the heat! I have a 26X26 garage with 10 foot ceilings. Insulated doors, and 2 windows. On a 40 degree day it was up to 65 degrees in 20 minutes! Easy to use rotary thermostat. Quite and no smells! I recommend 10 gauge wiring with a 30 amp outlet/ breaker to be safe. 25 feet of 10 gauge wire, an outlet a
I just received this heater to help warm up my unheated basement, and it' amazing! It looks great and I love the fireplace feature. I've had regular heaters before and they are boring, just functional looking at best. But this heater has a great style and the fireplace feature is super fun. There' some mechanism inside that makes the lights flicker like a real flame, so it' fun to watch. It' also just the right size. Large enough to be very sturdy and to see the flame effect from anywhere in t
I love the look of the wood flames. Runs quietly so it isn't an intrusive noise. Great product
Perfect for small spaces.
This is a great electric fireplace. Its sturdy, nice looking, and the ability to change the color of the flames and logs is a plus! Remote control is handy too, although it is a little finicky and you have to point it directly and right in front of it to turn it on. Takes me a few times (could be an old battery) Happy with this product though.
I just enjoy looking at it in the bedroom, even tho its small and on a table it provides a sense of comfort from the outside elements while I read my book.
If you want a space heater that is light weight, instant direct heat and safe to use, then this little heateris for you. I have always been afraid to use a space heater, but with the safety features decided to try it.Directions are easy, maybe 5 mins. to setup. I thought because of its size it wouldn't do much, Wrong!
I purchased this for a friend for Christmas and then went over to see her on New Year' and she was raving about this unit. She has a 1200 square foot lower level and they live on a lake so she was cold every morning. She said this unit warms up her whole lower level so now in the morning she' nice and warm. We have an outside pub we ended up ordering one for it and unbelievable it actually works on a room without insulation so I then purchased one for the back portion of my house. I'm not new
I am on solar electricity and do not have a bill until winter. This propane heater was the perfect solution to me needs. For one 20 dollar tank fill a month I can meet my homes heating needs versus purchasing electricity for heating.very efficient and can rapidly heat large SFR rooms or smaller spacesit is very portableeasy to operatesafe as long as you provide appropriate ventilation or get a CO detectorThe tank retainer and wheels could be a bit sturdierme and my cats lay around it in the morn
The heater is so tiny. However, it worked great when I tested it and the appearance is awesome. There was no assembly required just took it out of the box and plugged it into the socket. I just wish these contracted employees of Amazon would follow my directions and ring my doorbell so that I can go outside and grab it.Update: I used the tiny heater and sadly, it turned off after only being on fir 15 min. After being off for over an hour it still hasn't turned back on. Consumer beware, I purpose
The buddy heater is high quality and easy to use. It is compact but put outs a good bit of heat! We have a 35 ft RV and this heats the whole thing up extremely well. We also used this during a recent winter storm when our power and electric heat went out and it kept our family warm! Highly recommend as an affordable, easy to transport option for heating in planned and emergency situations.
It is now January 2024 (bought 2022) and this heater has been keeping my rabbits and pigeons nice and warm. We have a 15x25 barn and it heats it up perfectly. Runs great and no fume smell. Rabbits are enjoying the warm and their dishes are ice free despite the negative degree weather we were battling this year. It does go through propane fast but it is still only used a few times a year so I'm not too concerned with how often I have to fill especially since I want my animals comfortable and warm
My Buddy Heater was nothing but problems... made a whistling sound sometimes for hours on end, sometimes wouldn't light when it was hot and I was changing the propane cans. I would have to wait for it to cool down. And it eventually died after about 6 months of use. This heater is a bit bigger, more heat, but the propane cans don't last quite as long because of the higher heat output. It is not as nice looking as the Buddy Heater and the controls are in the back instead of on top, which is a bit
